White spots on 5 month baby lips
I have a 5 month old baby girl and there are white spots on her lips. Can someone please suggest what should be done here? Any antibiotic gel to be applied? Attached is the pic of the spot.

Hello. Yes, it looks like fungal infection and candid mouth paint 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days as local application will work. However, as your baby is 5 months and should be breastfeeding, please cross check that the source of this fungal infection should not be your breast(nipple). Need to remove this source of infection if at all it is there as it may cause recurrence of infection.

It looks like a fungal infection called oral thrush. Clean the area with a gauze and then apply candid mouth paint twice a day for 3 days.
