White layer on tongue since 2-3 years
Please check the images there is a white layer even after brushing . I clicked the image after brushing and tongue cleaning. Is it serious? I don't smoke but used to eat alot of mints in childhood. Please check is it oral thrush? Can it be treated?

Doesn't seem to be problematic in image. Don't be harsh when cleaning the tongue or teeth. Gentle cleaning is sufficient.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for clinical examination.

It is a fissured tongue ( presence of irregularities) and nothing to worry about. You need extra care for cleaning it . Brush twice daily and clean your tongue too with a brush and not a tongue scraper( types). The only thing is if left unclean, you get halitosis ( bad breath)
Next Steps
Visit the dentist , if there is symptoms like burnnig sensation, pain , bad odour, change in colour or absence of taste sensations. Hope this helps you.
