A common problem: when people start noticing their tongue too much!! Those white bumps are your taste buds called as circumvillate papillae. Many patients have deposits of lymphoid tissue also in that area of the tongue. It is absolutely normal. Do not irritate that area by vigorous brushing or tongue cleaners. Be worried only if it increases in size or starts to ulcerate. Best, get a doctor's opinion. Just brush your teeth well twice daily, eat some fruits and smile confidently. My tongue is also a little yellow. Does not mean that we have a disease! It's all part of the normal. Important part is that you clean enough, but do not irritate your tongue too much. Accepting the way we are is the first line of any treatment. :-)

Hello sir, it may be due to food getting lodged between enlarged papillae.Should visit a dentist and get a clinic diagnosis done asap.
