Which is  ideal week for Iron, calcium
I'm currently 14 weeks 5 days pregnant. My doctor has not prescribed iron and calcium tablets yet. When is the ideal week to start iron and calcium supplements. Asked me to come in 16th week. Is it ok to start iron n calcium then ? Or is it too late

It's not too late to start at 16 weeks if ur hemoglobin is within normal range . It can be started after 12 weeks .

Generally iron and calcium supplements are prescribed from 12 weeks of pregnancy..

It depends on ur clinical conditions and ur hemoglobin... usually v can start after 12 weeks but it can b delayed due to vomitings ...kindly connect for further advice
