Which gliptin is best in India?
Now a days many diabetic patient choose dpp-4 inhibitor in place glimipiride. Please can you tell me which gliptin is best for Indian diabetic? I hope I will get the best answer as it's a most knoledge-sharing platform in India. Thanking you all.

DPP-4 inhibitors are considered weight neutral and have generally been shown to improve other cardiovascular risk factors, including low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, and blood pressure. Linagliptin is most effective in the inhibition of enzyme as compared to other DPP-4 inhibitors.

Good evening. All glipitin are good for diabetic patient as mode of action are same. Check sugar levels after each meals and take staglyptin 50 mg along with DPP4 and monitor sugar levels accordingly

Not a huge difference between the drugs. Linagliptin is safe in kidney failure also. Otherwise no big difference. Tenegliptin is not FDA approved but cheaper - so used commonly in India . Sita / vilda and Lina are approved by FDA

Till sugars are well controlled on gliptin.Later other stuff may be added.Metformin is primary.Its a science and generalizing is difficult.
