I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and will soon have an ultrasound. This is my first pregnancy ever and I’m thrilled about everything! I plan on taking all possible precautions along with being informed about everything. Can someone tell me what to expect in 10 weeks’ pregnant scan? What should be the size of my baby? And what risks are involved this stage?

If this is your first scan then pregnancy localisation, pregnancy time i.e. gestational age, heart rate of baby will be seen.
From crown to rump, fetus can weigh about
1 1/4 inches long. In the coming weeks your baby will again double in size– to nearly 3 inches.
