I have few issues with respect to dental. I have chronic lower jaw pain for 3 years now. Had MRI and CT of jaw and neck and it's normal.
I was having pain in #46 for tapping and biting pressure but CBCT scans were normal, nothing found. Had RCT, didn't help. Has retreatment of RCT several times and no changes. Pulled 46 last year as they suspect that could be causing my constant jaw pain.
Now I have pain in 47 gums severely& constantly. X-rays ok. OMFS said I can extract it if it's painful. Gums so throbbing and tooth hurts when he pressed with fingers.
I have bad tartar buildup on 47. Dentist said SRP to be done. So I need to do SRP or ext? Will this tooth be saved with RCT? Severe throbbing pain in distal& back side gums& Swollen.
I have some tiny white growth on tongue. OMFS said to do biopsy.also wisdom tooth #28 ext on same day.
Do I need to get wisdom ext and biopsy first or check this second molar (SRP or ext or RCT?) First?
Can I go for SRP when I have some pain on 46?help
