PLEASE NOTE : I am already undergoing psychiatric treatment for my OCD and ANXIETY . But lately I have been noticing a new OCD theme , there is a particular perfume smell that I keep on experiencing , and my first thought was - what if this is a ghost ( as I heard someone say that if there is a smell around you , it's a spirit or a ghost ) . At first this thought just came in but then it stuck in my mind . I also realised that it's the smell of my own perfume . But I am still scared with what ifs . Does this OCD theme really exist ? Or am I going crazy ?? PLEASE NOTE : I KNOW MY THOUGHT IS CRAZY AND GHOSTS DONT EXIST BUT I STILL GET RECURRENT THOUGHTS AND EXTREME FEAR .

This sounds very distressing indeed. You will need to consider seeing your psychiatrist sooner than advised for a review. You are likely having break through symptoms which is not uncommon in OCD. Your treatment regimen needs to revised and adjusted accordingly.
You could consider adjunct or add on treatments like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and/ or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as well
