What is heat rashes on back

Asked for Male, 34 Years

My son keeps on scratching his back every now and then from last 15 days. He has got red boils over his back. We applied talcum powder on it. But the itching is still there. He is 8 year old. What do we do to treat these heat rashes on his back?
