Iam using medicines for some psychiatric problem. Like Oltha plus, olapin plus.
However
With this i saw below effects...
1) too much hair loss especially in scalp area
2) interspersedly white hair
3) skin blackening including face
What i have to do ?
Doctor told me don't stop this medication.

The combination of fluoxetine with olanzepine is used for multiple conditions....like bipolar Depression, OCD, Schizophrenia with depressive symptoms.
The side effects of fluoxetine n olanzepine is not very common for hair fall. How ever hormone changes secondary to weight gain....can lead to this.
If you start regular exercise n maintain low calorie and oil free diet , we can control the common side effects.
I suggest you to visit a skin specialist for hair issues. If like to switch to other safer Medication it can be done also....
But this is not a direct side effects of this combination.
