For OCD the doses are generally higher than for depression. Its not recommended to self medicate when it comes to psychiatric medicine. If Escitalopram is not working then your medicine will need change. Kindly consult a Psychiatrist/ discuss with your treating Psychiatrist

In my opinion best drug for ocd is Fluvoxamine. Begin with 50 mg and then titrate dose
Fluoxetine upto 80 mg has been used
Escitalopram can be used by again max dose of escitalopram is 20 mg itself.
