What does the Typhoid test mean?
Hi, My mom is regularly getting fever since around 8 days. So we have done a widal test to see if she has typhoid or not.
Please have a look at the widal test report inform if she has typhoid or not?
The test was done on 7th day from onset of fever.

Widal is not a diagnostic test for typhoid. Instead Typhidot IgM should be done. Also baseline titre of widal is 1:80, therefore your widal is not significantly positive. Kindly consult for proper treatment and advice.
