What are the causes of psoriasis scalp
My daughter who is 21 years. Her scalp is dry, flaky and red. I feel she has scalp psoriasis. What are the causes of this disease? Can it be hereditary as my sister has it? Is it because she uses a lot of head and shoulders a lot? She has hair wash daily can it be because of it?

No. Daily washing or head and shoulders will usually not lead to psoriasis, though it can be hereditary and it is due to low immunity as well. There are specific shampoos and medicine for the same. You dont have to worry. It is curable

According to your explanation there is 2 probability. One is psoriasis and other is seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is hereditary in 10% of patients. It is not due to regular Washing of hair. Send me the picture of her scalp on direct consultation so that I can suggest you it's treatment.
