What are rat bite diseases
I am 51 years old male. My son is having high fever from past 2 days. He is also having diarrhoea. He returned from Kerala 4 days back, where there is an epidemic of rat bite diseases. I am worried that he also has got it. How do I get it confirmed?

Please visit medicine opd of any hospital to let a doctor examine and test for leptospirosis. It doesnt spread from rat bite but from rat urine infecting soil and other places. Fever and diarrhoea can occur in a variety of other diseases as well. Please visit a doctor in person for proper examination and blood tests. Give the doctor history of returning from Kerala.
