Weight loss
I am 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant and weigh 70 kgs with 5'3" height; my weight was 64 kgs and gained 6 kgs in one month when I got pregnant. I am concerned about this weight gain whether it will affect my growing baby. Is there any way I could lose weight in a safe manner without affecting my baby's growth. My blood sugar levels are normal as of now, yet I have severe headaches and dizziness. I had my scan which showed my baby has a 142 bpm. Kindly suggest a safe weight loss yet a balanced diet for a good pregnancy term.

Hello , Pregnancy causes water retention which could attribute to a percentage of the same. A healthy weight gain for you would be 1- 1.5 kg per month , make sure to eat small regular meals ,reduce the fat content in your food and opt for high protein diet along with fruits and vegetables .If you have no other problems in pregnancy , half an hour walk at moderate pace will make you feel better .
