You gain about 10 kg weight in 40 weeks of pregnancy.
The day you deliver you lose about 8 kg weight . You lose the remaining 2 kg in the next six months when you are breastfeeding the baby.
If your diet is just sufficient to meet your daily requirements you will never gain weight.
I hope it answers your question.
Postpartum weight loss is very normal. In 6-12 months you loose weight and come same weight you used to before pregnancy. No need to worry if your weight was 47-50 before pregnancy
