Hi Sir/Madam, Our Baby boy will be 2 years old on March 1st 2022. He was born on 28th week of pregnancy and his birth weight was 990 grms. He is doing fine, no complications or any health issues. But he is not gaining weight. He is 9kg right now. We are giving almost 5 meals per day and nothing seems to be working. Please guide us on this. Will be thankful for your help

9 kgs for a 2year old is fine. You can give appetite boosters if he's not eating well.

As he was born preterm with Extremely low birth weight the catch up growth could be a little delayed and even less ..if there is continuous weight gain and he is otherwise healthy need not worry ..
Next Steps
monitor weight and height and look for any growth flattering
Health Tips
provide energy dense food.adding ghee, jaggery, dry fruits and other healthy fat would help

Weight of 9 kg is good if birth weight was 990gm and 28wk pregnancy. As baby is active, nothing to worry. He will catch up later. It will take a longer time. Height and head circumference are important. Please mention those. Also send his earlier weight record like 6 months, 1 year etc.
