Hello parents,
At 2 years and 3 months, your child weight 10 kg is not underweight, but is slightly lower side in normal range. So weight is normal. Also need to see height and should plot on chart. And if weight is increasing in time, then not to worry.
For diet, there should not be strict diet plan in children as there are in learning stage. Give them nutritional items in taste which they like, first. Then try different taste and give different items or do twist in routine items (but it should be nutritional).
Next Steps
At this age child needs only 200ml-300ml( max 400ml) of pasteurised milk per day, make sure you give only this much of milk.
Child plate should contains all nutrition group’s items in balance. That is called full plate.
Avoid junk food, too oily, too much spicy or packed food.
Give atleast one fruit minimum in a day.
Give green leafy vegetables more. Make sabji or soup or puree, pulva and curry etc.
Use ghee in food items
Give high protein food in balanced. Can give pediatric protein milk powder (consult you pediatrician for that).
