Hello sir/mam
weight of 29 months old boy is 11.6 Kg and height is 88 cm,is it in acceptable range? Or it is very less? I consulted one doctor offline who is not a paediatrician as I live in a small village with no specialist he told it is very less and told to start some supplements which was costing around 15k-20 k so just wanted to take a second opinion .He is very active with not any problem.pleae give some feedback

Both weight and height are within acceptable limits though slightly below average.

I would just do a CBC to screen for Anemia and start iron drops if tests suggest that.
Also as Dr Sridevi suggested u can give him pediasure once per day.
He should have otherwise a well balanced diet.
No fancy supplements are needed. Deworming if not done within 6 months should be carried out.

iron rich food like spinach,jaggery,nuts,red meat if u are non vegetarian,peas, chickpeas,beans soyabean,lentils should be included in the diet.

Height is ok
If he is eating well no need of any supplements .
Anyway what supplements cost 15 to 20 k?
