Weezing sound
My husband is suffering from gbs. Tracheotomy is closed. It is now more than one month. But from 4-5 days wheezing(sonring) sound is coming. Pls suggest what is the reason behind this.

Hello ... there could be granulations in trachea due to tracheostomy or intubation .. whatever the cause might be .. get him consulted to an ent and get evauluated.. u may need an flexible endoscopy or ct .. as per surgeons opinion

It could be due to over granulated tracheostomy .. sometimes due to improper healing of stoma or can be due to stenosis if tracheostomy is done at the wrong level

Probably  trachea is getting  narrowed  ,if persists  consult  bronchoscopist.
