Weakness and dizziness
My father age is 60 years old, he had a bacterial infection and on a medication since last 2 days. Today he felt dizziness and craved for food. He says his stomach felt empty and in hunger. Then he eat some food and now he is fine. His BP is normal, sugar level today checked in sugar checking machine fbs was 124 mg/dL. Is it normal to have. Previously we had done hba1c and the result was 6.1% and mean plasma glucose level was 139.86. Is it normal to have dizziness or any age related issues. Kindly help me.

His blood sugar level is on a higher side but his body is unable to take up the glucose due to either insulin resistance or due to insulin deficit. Therefore, he must be facing dizziness. Consult with proper history for better management.

It is not age related dizziness. He was actually hungry and had dizziness.
