Way to get rid of the wax without pain

I went to the ENT doctor a year ago for Ear wax removal and when he started getting out of wax I felt very painful, so I have deny to removal of wax. Is there any way to get rid of the wax without pain, if yes please advise.

Wax can be removed painlessly by syringing or suctioning. Before removal you need to apply wax softener ear drops such as Otorex for few days. Once the wax is softened it is easier to remove the wax
