Things to consider: 1. Why? 2. Are you in need of it? It is proven in many recent studies that, fasting has numerous health benefits. A regular water fasting will be practised for a day, from night to next day night (24hrs). The best habit is to start fasting in night as some may experience sleepless in empty stomach. Don't comit yourself to any hard physical works while you fast. If you feel like you are so hungry you can eat some fruits preferably bananas, mangos, apples, etc. Fasting is a healthy habit, but your physical health should bood good and supportive for you to fast. If you don't have any specific conditions(Hypertension, Diabetes, etc). You can fast. Start step by step. First skip a meal Then two. Then a whole day. More than 24hrs is not advisable.
