Hi there,
A detailed medical and psychiatric history is needed for every case.Also important is to do Mental Status Examination of the patient to come for final diagnosis.History from family members is also recommended.
Besides “sensations like water sometimes dry or gone” can happen in neurological and also in some of the psychiatric disorders.
Next Steps
Without detailed MSE, we can’t comment about the final diagnosis. Is there any history of head injury or epilepsy?
Any major psychiatric history in the family?
