I did torch test in that I got cmv igg positive and hsv igg and igm positive.. My in laws are saying even if they touch me they will get it.. They are saying I can't live a normal and happy life.. They are saying so many bad things that I'm getting in depression and anxiety my headache is continuously paining bcz I'm crying continuously.. Even my husband saying the same thing he is saying we won't have a normal couple life bcz of this.. My husband also got hsv positive but they are saying it's absolutely normal.. They are saying I will have abnormal babies.. Are all these things true saying by my in laws???

Hi... Regarding CMV infection Most people recover in 4 to 6 weeks without medicine. Rest is needed, sometimes for a month or longer to regain full activity levels. Painkillers and warm salt-water gargles can help relieve symptoms. And HSV infection as your husband is also having the same infection you might have acquired from him.. Hence it's not like one will be infectious for life and the other is not. Listen to your doctor's advice and follow instructions accordingly. All the best.

May be u r having a infection from your Husband so no need to worry .. and definitely he is also positive then it's not a big issue . mstart medicine u will be fine
