Want to avoid spectacles
Last year when I visited an ophthalmologist he prescribed me for a specs with -0.5 lenses. In april '15 he prescribed me specs with -1.0 lenses for both eyes. Now I think I need corrective lenses with more power. But I want to avoid specs. Is there any way to avoid specs? And also tell me how can I improve my eyesight.

You can wear corrective contact lenses to avoid wearing glasses for now. You can also go for Lasik refractive corrective surgery if you are really motivated to get rid of your glasses, after your spectacle power has stabilised for a period of at least one year. There are no medically proven methods to improve eye sight other than those already mentioned.
