My doctor recently prescribed vidalgliptin with metformin in the mng and glimepride voglibose and metformin in the noon along with insulin twice a day. But my friend is mbbs doctor suggested vidalgliptin is more effective than voglibose and safe drug and he suggested only vidalgliptin with metformin in the noon and eliminated voglibose combo, should I follow with my friend

Since you're taking vilda metformin combo in the morning, vogli with metformin is enough in the noon.
If you take vilda metformin combo twice, it can cause hypoglycemia.
Try vogli combination, still sugar is high, then you can skip to vilda.
