Vitilgo treatment
I am suffering from vitilgo from last 4 years. I am taking treatment- in which I took steroids, patchex and aretha. I am taking photo threapy also. But still new spots are coming. I just want to know, what is missing in treatment. Is it related to liver or any other underlying health issues. What should I do? Please help🙏

Speed of new spot onset decides change in treatment of vitiligo. Dose of steroids or frequency of phototherapy change too may help

Hi...Vitiligo is a very stressful condition to live with and worse is that it is brought on by stress. The spread of disease despite the right treatments can mean that you need more aggressive and all round therapy. Surely some more things can be added to your prescription which will help in talking your stress and consequently help in arresting the others of vitiligo..

it always helps to sleep at 10pm daily and sit in direct sunlight between 7 and 8 am. it improves your immunity and this could help your fight against vitiligo.

There might be nothing wrong with your treatment but the patches of vitiligo can still increase in number or size as it is an autoimmune condition. You need further evaluation for any other underlying conditions like thyroid disorders. It's best to consult a dermatologist in person and get proper evaluation done

Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition. Its related to your overactive immune system. Please follow with your doctor, since you need to be consistent with the treatment.

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder, it has triggering factors like stress , infections , drugs , trauma . It is also associated with autoimmune thyroiditis in few cases, which needs to be tested for. If the white patches are increasing even with above treatment there are drugs for which u need further evaluation.
