Usually kids have growing pains because of the open growth plates of the bones and specially around the knee. For a 3 year old, weekly sachet would be more better than daily. Vit D is just like other vitamins and the values have to be maintained, unfortunately its not available in any dietary supplements. So a yearly check and a vit D course should be done. Hope this helps you.
Health Tips
early morning sunlight exposure is another source of vit D.
