I have vitamin d deficiency. Doctor prescribed me medication eg lumia 6000 but it did not cure and doctor suggested that only sunlight can cure it. I can't take the body ache and gastric issues any more .please suggest a medication . is calcitol good ?

Hi, Our body creates most of our vitamin D from direct sunlight on our skin using cholesterol.
Short daily periods of sun exposure without sunscreen during the summer months (April to October) are enough for most people to make enough vitamin D. Evidence suggests that the most effective time of day for vitamin D production is between 11am and 3pm.
Consumption of large amount of supplements could be harmful...
