hi dear,
I am Dietitian Swati Pandey, first of all what's the range of vit b12 in your body ?haver you tested? if it is below 200picograms per milliliter then it is deficiency. which is generally common in vegetarians and worsen in vegans. The main sources of Vitamin B12 for vegetarians is eggs, milk, curds and paneer. So have more raita, include more Punjabi paneer recipes, have some chaas, low fat chaas.
and for non vegetarians eggs, fish like sardines, tuna, trout, and salmon are all excellent sources of vitamin B12.
Next Steps
To increase the amount of vitamin B12 in your diet, eat more of foods that contain it, such as: Beef, liver, and chicken. Fish and shellfish such as trout, salmon, tuna fish, and clams. Fortified breakfast cereal. Low-fat milk, yogurt, and cheese. Eggs.
Health Tips
Weak muscles. Numb or tingling feeling in hands and feet. Trouble walking. Nausea. Decreased appetite. Weight loss. Irritability. Lack of energy or tiring easily (fatigue)
