Vit d deficiency and serum cal
Recent blood test revealed my vitamin d level is around 17 ng/ml which is low. And also serum calicium with 8.4. Doctor suggested calicium and vitamin tablets. Anything else i should worry about ? Any precautions? Any change on daily routine ??

Hello, When supplement are given no problem unless they are in appropriate dose. In diet milk N milk products are must, walking, SEASONAL FRUITS, must be added. It's nothing to worry as almost every Indianis suffering from this. Ok.

Vitamin D Deficiency SX - late walking in children, frontal bone protrusion, chronic muscle pains and aches. PE - Stooped Stature, Bow Legs, Periosteal bone pain.
Next Steps
DX - Vitamin D Level ( < 30 ng/mL ). Calcium, PTH level.
