Vit D deficiency, 17 weeks pregnant
Hello, I recently found out after a test that I have a severe vitamin D deficiency. My level is only 6. I have been taking calcium+vit D supplements for the past couple of months but that doesn't seem to have helped. I'm in my 17th week. My question is, can I sit in the sun for 30 to 40minutes every day between 11am to 3pm to make up for this deficiency? Would that help and would it be advisable to do so? I have poor tolerance to heat and it's very hot and humid where I am right now (Gurgaon). Thank you.
