VISION RELATED QUERY
After 2 months of LASIK, doctor checked my eyes and my eye power was -0.25 in left eye and -0.5 in right eye. 6/6 vision in left eye and 6/9 vision in right eye. Doctor forbade me to order glasses of this power as only 2 months have been passed and he said that I have to use lubricating eye drops regularly because this low power will improve with frequent use of lubricating eye drops. I want to ask that do lubricating eye drops help in improving vision ( such low power )? . Why I still has power left even after LASIK? Although my pre LASIK power was -8 in both eyes including -4 cylinder. Also I want to ask that is cylindrical power dangerous? How much chance of it coming back after LASIK?

Hello, You need to give atleast 4 to 6 months for number to settle. As your pre operative refractive error was high, little fluctuation in vision is common. Continue lubricating drops with mild steroid drops. Get your topography done next 3 months.
