Viral infection
Hello Doctors, I am struggling with viral infection from last 5 days. So much cough with fever. I tried everything (steam, hot water) but still not getting relief. I have asthma also and getting breathing issues with that. Please help

Cough can be due to viral or bacterial, if it’s dry mostly it’s due to viral. But viral infection can predispose to secondary bacterial infection as well. Please consult as many questions need to be asked like how was asthma diagnosed,have you used any inhaler previously or not and many more

Your symptoms suggest acute exacerbation of asthma, cause may be underlying infection.
Next Steps
Get a blood check up :- Cbc on the first hand. check temperature, bp, spo2 you need to step up your medication. avoid steam if fever is present.
