I have been skinny all my life as i can remember. I never thought about it much but now I think it's affecting my health.
I feel lazy and tired all the time, sleep a lot, pain in back, lack stamina and physical strength. I am also being affected by it psychologically. I have social anxiety because of it and I also lack self confidence.
I am not sure what type of doctor to approach.

Hi there...I can understand your concern. I delay weight for your height is around 80kgs. You are underweight. Get your blood parameters checked once. As you know few people have very high basic metabolism rate. It will be difficult for them to gain weight. Also one should remember gaining weight and losing weight is a very gradual process. It will a lot of time, patience and determination. You must follow a healthy diet and exercise schedule. Start having food rich in proteins like pulses, soyabeans, vegetables, fruits, egg whiteboiled , boiled chicken. Regarding exercises, start cycling or swimming, whatever you are comfortable with and enjoy most. Along with it try doing high bar excercises. You can also visit a dietician and endocrinologist for further queries.
