Very high fever

my daughter is 2 years 8 months and suffering from very high fever along with cough and cold. am travelling so i consulted a local doctor who suggested meftal p to reduce the fever (she had fits when she was 1 year old) but its been 4 hours and her fever is still above 101. can i repeat meftal p every 4 hours in such high fever.
she is also prescribed anti biotics also

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Yes you may repeat fever medicine every 4 hours . also wipe baby top to bottom with tap water. And don't overwrap baby.
