Street needs to be some more details in the history to be elicited to produce a relavent management plan.
On the limited available history form yourself, I would want to know more from the following.:
Mode of injury to knee/ was there a fracture in the knee/ was there a knee dislocation / was it an open injury or closed injury / was any surgery done on the knee/ xray report/ MRI report of the knee
Secondly, how did you make a diagnosis of varicose veins ? - have u had Doppler scan and or Angiogram of knee vessels ? Have you had a vascular surgeon consultation to make this diagnosis?
With regards to knot in the same groin as the knee it will have to be investigated further - is it a lymph node or a lump or a pad of fat or a varicosity or hernia.
We need more details history eg smoking , cough, stress and activity levels before further evaluation is provided
Next Steps
Xray , MRI knee and a Doppler UsG for the popliteal fossa. Make a consultation with me on video or face to face in shout Pain Clinic or in Doctors Hub. Thanks
