In addition to medicine what else life changes do you suggest to vata imbalance patient regarding diet and oil massage etc.it would be really kind of you if you can guide me i am keen learner abd  trying to learn aayurveda and it principles. Regards

The most important thing to balance the Vaat is tila tailam or seasame oil. If you keep your bowels free. Then you can expect that Vata can be balanced. Sonth or dry ginger powder along with a pinch of rock salt with warm water can also be used to decrease the effect of Vata Oils such as ksheerbala tailam, Dhanvantari, tailam and kottam chukkadi tailam will be helpful for external application

The characters of Vaat Dosa, are dry, cool, rough, subtle and rough Vata Dosa can be managed by using products which are having the reverse effect or reverse character . Dry X moist Cool X warm Rough X slimy Subtle X gross Any diet medicine lifestyle with these properties which are opposite to Vata Dosa can help in reducing the aggravated Vata , thereby reducing the Vata and creating the balance that is Dosha Samyata There is a good quotation from Ayurvedic text or Samhita रोगस्तु दोष वैषम्यम् दोष साम्यम आरोग्यता vitiation or imbalance of dosha causes diseases and on the contrary, the balance of dosha causes proper health.
