If circulatory issues were diagnosed then the best option would be to consult a sclerotherapy specialist who will do a thorough physical examination. Doppler scanning may be advised to rule out any deep circulation compromises. Management depends upon the findings of these procedures. Massage and heat therapy are strictly restricted for these conditions. It will worsen the inflammation and increase the distal pooling of body fluids. There's also risk of bacterial and fungal infection from non sterile oils used in local treatments.
