If I damaged the vagus nerve on the left side of my neck could it cause my stomach to slow down if not stop the release of stomach acid thereby causing my stool color to change to yellow due to lack of said acid?

Hello well it would have been better if you could share the reports with us so that we can exactly assess about your problem even though vagus nerve is associated with the gastric secretion there are also other nerves which is responsible for it ...please meet a doctor in person thank you
