Vaginal pain in 5th month pregnancy
I am 18 week pregnant and having sharp vaginal pain mainly inside vagina or sometimes around vaginal bones while getting up and during turning sides while lying down. I did not have any intercourse since beginning of pregnancy. When I don't move then there is no pain. What can be the reason behind this.

As uterus becomes bigger in size gradually ,the supports of uterus (ligaments)stretches causing mild pain..don’t worry ..consume 4-5 litres/day liquids (if associated urinary tract infection could be the cause of pain ).continue the rest of medications ..

Good evening.. Mild pain is common sometimes.. it could be muscle spasm . Take Dolo 650 mg tablet if pain is severe . U can consult a physiotherapist if pain is not bearable.he will show u few exercises to stretch muscles .. might help u. Or could be urinary tract infection, observe for burning sensation while passing urine or increased frequency of urine. If no symptoms don’t worry.
Next Steps
Get urine culture and sensitivity test if symptoms present.
Health Tips
