Vaginal itching problem
I am 17 years old and have been experiencing recurring itching around my vaginal opening since 12 October. There is no visible redness or swelling. I also experienced burning during urination, frequent urination and unusual urine smell. I noticed light brown spotting between 18–20 October, which has now stopped, but itching continues.
I used hair-removal cream externally on 3 October. I had sex on 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 October using condoms every time, with no breakage or slipping. Oral sex occurred on 11 October. My pregnancy test on 21 October was negative.
Please advise on the possible cause, whether I need urine tests or a vaginal examination, and appropriate treatment.

Your symptoms may be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI), vulvovaginal candidiasis, or local irritation/allergic contact dermatitis following the use of hair-removal cream. Since the itching is persistent and you also experienced burning and frequent urination with an unusual urine smell, please undergo a urine routine examination and urine culture before starting antibiotics. A vaginal examination or swab may be advised if symptoms persist or discharge develops.
Your negative pregnancy test on 21 October is reassuring, but if your period is delayed, repeat the test 21 days after the last sexual intercourse.

Itching without redness, along with burning and frequent urination, suggests a urinary infection or irritation from the hair-removal cream. An STI screen is worth doing too, given your recent sexual activity.
