Vaginal Infection in Pregnancy
Hello Doc, My wife is 28W 2 days pregnant. Yesterday her discharge was light yellowish without any itching or odour. Today she went to doc where doc sent her sample for testing suspecting infection & prescribed 1. Metrogyl 400 2. Pontus 3. Clindamycin & clotrimazole vaginal suppositories 4. Combinorm My questions - Are all these antibiotics & medicines safe to be taken in 3rd trimester for baby & mother as she's having other medicines as well (Calcium, Iron, Gestofit, Aminofit) Anything else to be taken care of? Her Hb was 10 at 24 weeks, weight gain 8kg from beginning, Blood Sugar, TSH, USG at 23 weeks all normal. Thank you.
