Should we go for DPT or DTaP vaccine? Which gives better results in a long run? Our pediatrician advised us to go for DTaP as it's less painful and does not cause any fever in newborns.
Also after going for DTaP in first session after 6 weeks of birth, can we go for DPT in the next two sessions and boosters?

Both vaccines r ok and have its own issues
DPT may give pain swelling fever incessant cry for 1-2 days cost less
This side effects r minimal in DTaP but one school of thought say pertussis protection is not 100 percent
But its very rarely pertussis outbreak we can see and chance is very less but costlly
One advantage is you have IPV added in this
You can decide any one depends on cost and saftey and for your convinience

Vaccines once particular type and brand has been choosen -for proper immunity its better to follow same brands and type for other times too
