Vaccination after covid
Dear Sir /Madam, My wife has recovered from Corona and not sure about the first dose of vaccination. Can you please guide us when she can take up the first dose? I have received the information from different source to either wait for minimum 3 months. But we want to take first dose as soon as possible due to some personal plannings. Can you please advise if it is recommended to take the vaccination after 2 months of covid infection? Also, let us know if you have to count the days from the infected date or recovery date. Thank you. Warm Regards, Nandkumar

Count from date of onset of infection. Vaccination is strictly after 3 months from date of onset of infection. No personal issues should be priortized over pandemic. If you take vaccine early and if any immune reactions occur, you cannot blame anyone but yourself.

She can take vaccine after 3 months from recovery from corona as per ICMR guideline. During this period of time she has enough antibodies  , so no need to take vaccine before 3 months.

You will have to take vaccination after 3 months of vaccination or after covid recovery. as per government guidelines. Because after covid vaccination or recovery antibodies stays for while so no use of early vaccination.
