UTI - while trying to conceive
I have been experiencing a UTI for the past four days, and my culture report indicates the following:
• Organism: Citrobacter koseri
• Colony Count: >10⁵ CFU/mL
I consulted a urologist who prescribed Niftawin SR (twice daily for 21 days). However, I have been actively trying to conceive for the past two months and have already crossed my ovulation period in this cycle.
Could you please advise whether it is safe to take Niftawin SR while trying to conceive?
