UTI Treatment
Hi Dear Doctors, my brother has UTI from long time he has tried allopathic treatment multiple times but it's not cured yet, his main symptoms are extreme burning sensation in urine and weak urine flow, ultrasound abdomen pelvis report everything is normal like kidneys, prostate etc etc only urine culture shows infection named (klebsiella pneumoniae) he showed to ayurvedic doctor 4 weeks ago and he has been prescribed Chandraprabha vati 2 tablets twice and day, Punarnava 1 tab twice a day and varunadi kashaya twice a day before meals he is continuing the course.. But very slight improvement in symptoms, are these medicines sufficient to work for UTI or some other medicines/herbs needs to be added to the course if yes kindly tell what needs to be added with this treatment?? Hello, the medicines given for UTI are good.
Out of the many Ayurvedic drugs, gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) is considered the best drug for disorders related to the urinary system. Chandraprabha vati, gokshuradi guggulu, varunadi ghrita etc are some of the formulations that are best for UTI.

A diet high in fiber paired with drinking enough water promotes healthy digestion and regular bowel movements. Fiber won't work without enough water in the diet.

The medicine prescribed is very good for the condition of UTI .just try to continue the medicine.

instead of taking punarnava tab get punarnava churna and boil it in water and replace this punarnava boiled water instead of normal water .put 5 to 7 gms of powder in 1 litre water and boil it and consume ..

drink plenty of water 2 to 3 litres daily ..250 ml before half an hour of food ...

Do not take garm tasir food and fruits. Like do not drink coffe ,chane ki dal ,bringle vegetables, papaya, litchi,tea.
Eat cold tasir food and fruits.

Such medicines are good to for UTI...but ayurveda wash needs to be given for that infection!
Also in ayurveda...infection is 70% related to digestion and 30% to outer causes!!
Hence if his digestion is corrected and proper diet plan is given...infection will definitely get controlled!

when there is too mugh burning take 1 spoon gulkand( if he is not diabetic)
dhana jeera water will also help
