Hello Doctors, Greetings. I am a student of pharmacology .. I just to have a little insight on the usage of alkasol,urikid and citralka in treating UTI..n kidney infection... How the molecules break. Thnx

It works by altering the pH of urine . The trick is check the pH of urine in cases of nitrite positive samples . If it is acidic make it alkaline and if it is alkaline make it acidic.
Next Steps
Except Proteus all bacteria grow in acidic . So we make urine alkaline to inhibit the growth by citraalka or alkasol. To make urine acidic you can give Tablet Vitamin C 500 mg three times a day for a week
Health Tips
Urikind is different dear . It contains cranberry extracts that does not allow E. coli or other coliform bacteria to adhere by cilia to bladder epithelium. This makes bacilli wash out with plenty of water
