My mother has uterine prolapse issue since 3-4 yrs. I consulted two Gynecologist, one advised to go for Vaginal hysterectomy & pelvic floor repair with no removal of ovaries. Other Gynecologist advised to go for Total Laproscopic Hysterectomy + BSO + Pelvic floor repair.
I'm really confused which procedure is right for her. She is 71 years old. Kindly advise is it better to remove overies & Fallopian tubes along with uterus.
Should we chose vaginal hysterectomy or Total Laproscopic Hysterectomy?

Vaginal hysterectomy with bilateral salphingoopherectomy withpelvic floor repair. As these procedure are done in spinal anesthesia. Owing to age factor.
Lap needs General anesthesia. Not recommended in 70 s. More over pelvic floor is again done vaginally
